Latest @businessposthq poll out this morning, taken in the final days of the Presidential election campaign, sees parties in the left alliance that supported Connolly make gains, with SF up 2 and Soc Dems reaching record high of 9%, while FF downward trend in support continues.

@gataveckaite Our last poll before the election certainly predicted they would come first, and was very accurate. Just because you don’t do well in the polls in between elections doesn’t mean they are wrong, it just means you do better when people finally link your candidates to your party .

@LucidTalk @Politicorak @Reunify32 Poll conducted over last weekend and into the early part of this week. He stood down on Sunday. But his votes are reallocated according to second preference.

Tighter poll than it looks, as Humphreys polls much better among older voters who are more likely to turn out to vote, while Connolly does much better among younger voters, who are less likely to turn out.
