Is support entirely gone for the Hydrogen phone? @RED_Cinema / @REDSupport sent me to the #h4vuser forum. Is anyone alive over there? My email was not replied to and my forum post was never approved. As a Red camera user and someone that thought this was a cool phone, this is hugely disappointing. #redcamera #redhydrogen #h4v

@REDSupport I've been having trouble since the FCPX 10.4.9 update. I've re-installed FCPX and the new workflow. Videos don't show up and I get a beachball.

@RealGregKroes If your files open and play as expected in REDCINE-X PRO, then we'd recommend contacting Apple Support since it seems to be an FCPX specific issue. Another case appeared to be an incompatible GPU. We'd recommend double checking the latest FCPX system requirements.

So I figured out the cause of the choppiness in the new video. It’s not a Catalina bug. Not a Final Cut bug. It’s another $2400 RED SSD that’s slowly died on me. Sometimes it lets me record but drops frames. Sometimes it fails completely like this 👿 Worst part of shooting R3D.
