Max Space is developing an inflatable space station called Thunderbird. It will launch on a Falcon 9 and expand in orbit to create a larger living and working area. Designed for four astronauts, it aims to offer more space and comfort, with a planned launch around 2029.

Here is the ISS transiting the waxing crescent moon, captured in broad daylight with a 14” telescope from the desert in Arizona. One of the best parts of the space program is it’s possible to be observed across the entire world.

Ship 40 looks to have successfully conducted it's inuagural cryogenic proof test at Massey's! The vehicle was loaded, with an actuation of both aft flaps taking place early in the test (~4 seconds into the video). The vehicle undertook the rest of the test before being detanked!

Ship 40 has rolled out to the Massey's test site atop the new Block 3 cryo stand! It is expected to undergo multiple cryogenic proof tests over the coming days ahead of flight 13!!!

@davill noticed some interesting materials on 4 of the 7 engine bells from "No, It's Necessary" this morning, and the other 3 have the more traditional bracing/bracketing that we've seen during NG-1 and NG-2. Curious as to what y'all are testing this time around in this configuration - additional BE-4 upgrades?

The space port that never sleeps starting off the week bright and early this morning! Blue Origin has rolled GS1-3 "No, It's Necessary" out of their factory — it’s now heading to LC-36. This marks the company’s third New Glenn first stage booster built to date, and the next one scheduled to fly. 📸 - @NASASpaceflight

@teslaownersSV Any technology invention can be assessed in terms of how it improves fundamental metrics. It is impossible to become a multiplanet civilization without reusable rockets, just as it would have been impossible to colonize America with expendable boats.

Ancient volcanic activity and meteorite impacts "paint" the lunar surface with color. This image is a stack of over 100 captures of the far side of the moon captured by @astro_reid, with color greatly enhanced to reveal these subtle variances.

I really pushed the saturation of the surface near Mare Orientale and started to see pockets of iron oxide appear that weren’t obvious in my first pass. This is invaluable information for understanding how these ancient features formed. This is the type of thing I hoped to find in the data collected by @astro_reid during the Artemis II lunar flyby.
