My choice of squad numbers for England at the World Cup 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Some of these are unlikely though as players will have numbers they prefer (ie, Rogers - 15, Toney - 17 etc). Some numbers are interchangeable such as 18 which could be for a striker rather than midfielder. @squadnos

@whbroom012 @squadnos I think they’ve had those numbers before so that could happen. I loke the idea of back up right back being 12 though and 18 for a central midfielder.

Now the England World Cup squad has been announced, I’m getting in early with my @squadnos predictions! Don’t like some of these at all but based them on a combination of what players have worn in recent appearances for England and what they wear at club level:

Getting control of the wage bill should also be done by having a smaller squad in my opinion. Last season we ended up with quite a big squad with fringe players who didn’t feature much, even when we had injuries. #ReadingFC

@dinghugo6 I disagree. I believe we are better off having a fast start attacking towards a loud 1871 and then shoot towards north stand second half. We have scored more goals shooting towerds north stand this season.

Also, wasn’t there today BUT it’s clear - shoot towards 1871/y26 corner EVERY SINGLE WEEK in the 2nd half. #readingfc
