@waltdenver Yeah I don't know how their offseason can be anything but incomplete right now. I don't know what it's going to be lol but I know their most significant move of the offseason hasn't happened yet.

@OppPackGiannis They are way over the cap lol, their issue is if they take back a player in a S&T it hard caps them at the second apron, meaning any player they take back can't push them over the second apron. They technically have about $8M they can use right now so AJ alone makes too much.

AJ and KPJ makes a lot of sense. Gives Denver some players that can contribute and would lower their salary total for this year assuming Watson gets 20+m. For the Bucks it clears out our loaded back court.

AJ Green + KPJ for Watson makes a lot of sense and would make me happy. But if Denver wants picks too that's where it gets dicey.

@RFreemyer Lol, sure I just mean that if it’s between just a 1st and 2 2nds vs the offer of one 1st plus a rotation piece I imagine they go with the latter.

The Bucks have a $25.5M trade exception Watson could fit into so they make sense as a destination that wouldn't have to send players back to the Nuggets to make a deal work.

@MrX06438369 Clips feel like the most likely S&T destination to me, but they're in limbo because of the Kawhi trade, so I kinda don't think we're going to get a resolution to this until there's a resolution to that.

Everyone is on Spotrac's trade machine trying to make a Watson sign-and-trade work, but that thing is incapable of something very key: using Milwaukee's $25.5m trade exception to acquire Watson as an S&T. They could send draft assets to Denver, and it works from their end.

Pretty spot on. It doesn't make much sense for the Bucks to sign PWat if it means giving up Rollins and/or Ware, so I think the framework below is probably the best offer the Bucks could make
(And I wouldn't expect a huge haul of draft capital to be involved either)

There’s challenges to Bucks making a play here (including being only $11m under tax after GTJ, Watson being BYC, DEN’s apron limitations, DEN probably wanting a Kessler-type haul), but I guess it’s plausible that Jaquez, AJ Green, salary relief, and draft capital of some kind could be interesting to DEN.
