🇺🇸🇮🇷 2nd Marine group heads to Middle East The USS Boxer, USS Comstock & USS Portland headed to the Gulf. What could possibly go wrong? The US marine group will be fish in a 21 mile wide barrel... Iran has been preparing for four decades how to keep the Hormuz closed and we have Trump with a losing hand dealt by boss Bibi doing improv with lives of more American servicemen.
THE ISLANDER@IslanderWORLD

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The Pentagon’s plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is A-10 Warthogs — Cold War tank-killers repurposed to strafe speedboats while truck-mounted cruise missile batteries remain dug into mountains they haven’t destroyed in three weeks, remote-detonated mines sit silently on the seabed, and the minesweepers that could actually clear them were moved out of the region before the first bomb dropped. They claim 120 Iranian vessels destroyed — Iran has thousands more in tunnels and islands specifically because they knew this day was coming, and a swarm designed for forty years to deny passage to the world’s greatest navy doesn’t die because a Warthog kills a fast boat. Their own experts told the WSJ l it will take weeks and you will never reach 100% safe passage through a 24-mile chokepoint where a single cruise missile fired from a hundred miles away can still find a supertanker and that was before Iran’s parliament started drafting a toll law to charge the world rent for waters Washington can’t take back. Three weeks in, $119 oil, 2,200 Marines improvising toward Iranian islands, and the most expensive military in human history is negotiating with a minefield it chose not to prepare for... because the people who planned this war planned 3 days of indiscriminate bombing, not the morning after. Forty years Iran prepared for this moment. Three weeks and the world’s wannabe superpower is improvising on how best to double down on the humiliation by going on as fish in a (24 mile wide) barrel. What more could possibly go wrong!

'We are at a critical point in the war with Iran' - Joe Kent challenges the White House's cartoons and fights for the minds of young Americans. 'There are many young men and women in this room. I was even a bit surprised when I came here tonight, especially by the number of young people who came to shake my hand. Therefore, I have great hope for the next generation. We are at a critical point in the war with Iran. We must make it clear to our leaders that we do not support this war, that we do not consider it vital for national security. We want to bring our soldiers home. We want to work for peace in this region. We do not want another 20 or more years of bloodshed. And, entering the next election cycle, we need to demand from everyone - from all political parties - to go to them, to their representatives, and say: 'I will not vote for you if you support the continuation of these wars abroad'. We cannot continue on this path. We must clearly convey this to our leaders.' - SK

@FCNightingale All downtowns in the US have this problem going forward: commercial office buildings purchased before 2020 are no longer as valuable as they were when sold.

U.S. Steel Tower in Pittsburgh $160M of securitized debt, $40M in unsecuritized subordinate debt and $45M in mezzanine debt, is set to mature in June. Servicer commentary points to a growing concern about the borrower’s ability to refinance in the current lending environment. The leases for the tower’s two main tenants, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and namesake U.S. Steel, are set to expire within the next two years. In 2018 Jamestown Properties acquired a 40% stake in the property. The deal valued the building at about $340M. 601W Cos. paid $250M for the structure in 2011. 2.3M SF Built 1971 -TheRealDeal #commercialrealestate

He's going to need that when the reinvigorated Dems, riding high off their electoral wins in November 2026 and, likely, 2028, come after him as never before...and how We, The People, look the other way because he got us ensnared in both WWIII and another Great Depression.

The United States has spent $174 billion over 4 years on the war in Ukraine, which Trump and his base strongly opposed. Trump is now asking Congress for $200bn (!!!) to fund the war with Iran, which Trump officials admit was started for Israel. Let that sink in.

Besides all the other interests that controlled the timeframe, I think the ZOG needed to do this now because they needed to destroy Trump's legacy utterly. They couldn't let him make good on a major plank of MAGA. They couldn't let him get through two terms with no new wars. They couldn't let him set up an enduring political dynasty that was predicated on a different kind of foreign policy that put American interests first. And that's not just a strategic thing. It's a spiritual thing. They needed the demonic satisfaction of destroying virtue and crushing the hopes and dreams of millions of weary and desperate Americans.

Anyone who actually understands strategy understands this is not about us “winning” this war at all. It was always about Iran NOT LOSING. They always understood a rubber boat and a limpet mine would never defeat a major enemy but it would mean they won’t ever lose. That’s why so many of us actual veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan are against this stupid war by Trump and Hegseth. They think it’s about NUMBERS. We know it’s about TIME. We don’t have enough and Iran has all the time in the world.

Kent to Horton: "The Israelis forced our hand. They got nervous Trump would strike a deal again. They told us we'd be attacked for it next. That was the red line for me. I can't be part of this." Kent spills: Israel got nervous about deal. They wanted chaos, not peace. So they pushed the US into war.

The senate no longer represents a majority of Americans. The age of the average US Senator is 65 and the average age of Americans is 39. We don’t have people representing us that understand our struggle or social challenges. We need a national renewal of government!

🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷WSJ: Arab governments were furious about Israel’s attack on South Pars and Washington’s failure to stop it. They had aggressively lobbied the Trump administration to prevent strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure and now feel a target has been put on their backs. They paid the protection money, bought American weapons, hosted the bases. They even signed the Abraham Accords. They even invested heavily in Trump personally. Gulf Monarchies went above and beyond the original petrol dollar arrangement. And when Israel’s theological Darwinism, its suicidal compulsion to burn everything within reach in pursuit of a twisted eschatological endgame... pointed its bombs at South Pars, Washington didn’t stop it. For years Gulf governments had tried to balance security "protection" with Washington against diplomatic engagement with Tehran on the understanding that avoiding participation in confrontation with Iran would reduce the likelihood of becoming a target. The events of the past week have seemingly repudiated that assumption entirely. This is the moment the protection racket dies. Not with a declaration with a sobering realisation. The racket promised security in exchange for petrodollars, American arms purchases and absolute geopolitical compliance. What it actually delivered was Ras Laffan on fire, Al-Ahmadi hit, Habshan shut down, and Saudi Arabia’s top diplomat saying what little trust existed has been completely shattered. Israel’s self-destructive (inverted) theology is de facto helping Iran evict America from the region it spent 60 years acquiring — one burning refinery at a time. This is anything but America First. Had America come first, none of this happens. The Apprentice put Israel first. The Gulf is paying the invoice but they’re taking notes on who sent it.

Here we go. Once Netanyahu has ordered in ground troops, then it's a guarantee. American politicians are not allowed to disagree. Watch. You'll see Trump will follow his orders like a dog. Then they'll pretend landing troops on Iranian islands doesn't count. Propaganda incoming.

BOMBSHELL! Netanyahu just casually admitted on live TV that there will be a GROUND INVASION of Iran. The air strikes were just the beginning of a massive, devastating regional war.
