Congratulations to Tom Berry who’s named as first XV captain for this year with Tom Matthews as vice. They’ll lead the boys away today against dean close.

Tough loses today for the ones against a very well drilled and physical dean close side. Tries from Witcomb and Saunders but a 43-12 loss. Can’t fault the effort from the boys though.

Does altitude make a difference??? I did this workout at the HPC in Pretoria which is at altitude and got a time of 9:23 9 days later I did the same workout in Cheltenham at sea level and got 7:11! P.E. Students can answer a 10 mark Question on the explanation if they like

Last day on the tour and we have our second and third game drives today. Tour awards and last supper tonight.

Home to today and South Africa has been an absolute pleasure. So many unforgettable memories that the boys will cherish for life.

Some of the boys are excited to get home and so am I. Surprisingly the one thing I’m looking forward to most is eating vegetables again. Out here the closest thing to a vegetable you get is chicken.
