Completely unrelated - My little boy punched his older sister today. She started punching him back really hard. My little boy cried for a truce and couldn't understand why she was so mean.

JUST IN - Trump now wants no additional strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure after initially supporting the Israeli strike on South Pars, the world's largest natural gas field, as a message to Iran over blocking the Strait of Hormuz — WSJ

@RG_Leachman We got multiple months of them doing it constantly after I showed them. They then showed all their friends and one of their teachers emailed us saying that the entire class was doing it now

I debuted the “armpit fart” at the dinner table this week. Kids had never seen It before. My goodness, It was such a hit.

Unlike mothers, fathers tend to make children laugh by surprising them, breaking social rules, and making sudden funny noises. This playful destabilisation in a safe context is linked to a stronger sense of attachment security.

@WampumMining I don’t know how I had done It before for them. It just clicked. And an unforgettable moment was made. Felt like 2000 Tiger Woods
English

@WampumMining @max_gagliardi @NewsFinOil We'd sell it. And use the entirety of the proceeds within 15 minutes to bomb a country overseas we have no business being in
English

@WampumMining @max_gagliardi @NewsFinOil Because you don't live near it. It is completely unreasonable to think there would be any net benefit to society by selling it. In a perfect world - maybe. But we all know its going to the largest pocket donor, hes fencing it off, and no one will ever benefit from it

One of America’s most underappreciated competitive advantages is private land and mineral rights ownership.
It’s historically rare, virtually no other nation has structured property rights this way. And the results speak for themselves.
The U.S. is the #1 oil producer in the world, driven largely by private mineral owners, not government bureaucracy.
The question worth asking is why so much land remains under federal control, and who that actually serves?
A few national parks make sense. But the default should be private ownership, not federal.
Private land rights aren’t a partisan issue.
They’re the foundation of American prosperity.

It’s actually insane how much political capital Doug Burgum has burned on trying to sell public land. Dude was pretty well liked and has completely trashed his political future.
English

@WampumMining @max_gagliardi @NewsFinOil Thats cute of you to think any politician would handle the sell of federal lands in any sort of net positive way
English

@RG_Leachman @max_gagliardi @NewsFinOil There’s no reason SE New Mexico needs to be fed owned and it’s one of the primary reasons why Texas is wealthy and New Mexico is poor.

No I’m not only talking “scenic” land. Just as much value in land that people consider “ugly”. Frequently use land that people would consider non scenic. Beauty is in the eye of beholder. Slippery slope of how you determine what land should or shouldn’t be sold off. Can probably both agree politicians and their friends will benefit the most
English

@RG_Leachman @NewsFinOil You’re thinking of the scenic land
We can make more national parks, hunting preserves, etc.
But still tons of other federally owned land

Interesting that Iran has asymmetry on water. 97% of there water is aquifer or surface fresh. Rest of Mideast is 40%+ desalination. A true nuclear option- maybe worse- that Iran unleashed on Bahrain. Makes me confident the US definitely did NOT target Iran desalination first. No strategic benefit whatsoever.
