A pastor is forbidden from attending worship. He must attend a church chosen for him by an agent of the state.
This is not China. This is Alberta, which is supposedly the only province in Canada which is "strong and free".
Here, the courts and prosecution service and the "justice" system in general is infested with woke, Liberal, NDP zealots who merrily impose their ideology at every turn.
Alberta can have a "conservative" government a hundred times over, but the socialism-riddled bureaucracy gets its way every time.
No province shut down more churches and arrested more pastors in the last 5 years than Alberta, "strong and free".

After the Nuremberg Trials, one of the most unsettling conclusions did not come from the courtroom, but from the psychiatrist tasked with evaluating the defendants.
Dr. Douglas Kelley, the U.S. Army psychiatrist assigned to assess many of the senior Nazi officials, expected to find monsters people fundamentally different from the rest of humanity. He did not.
What disturbed him most was how ordinary they were.
They were not raving madmen. They were not obvious sociopaths. They were intelligent, educated, and often convinced they were simply doing their duty, following orders, or serving a higher cause. Kelley warned that this was the real danger: evil does not always look abnormal. It often presents itself as competence, obedience, and institutional loyalty.
His central warning was deeply uncomfortable there are people with morally vacant or destructive tendencies everywhere. In every society. In every era. What determines the outcome is whether systems elevate those people, shield them from accountability, and normalize their behavior, and whether ordinary citizens are willing to question authority when it matters most.
Modern bureaucracies and institutions are powerful precisely because they diffuse responsibility. Decisions are broken into policies, protocols, committees, and “best practices.” Harm is rarely framed as harm; it is reframed as necessity, risk management, or compliance. Individuals are encouraged not to think morally, but procedurally.
This is how ordinary people become capable of extraordinary wrongdoing by outsourcing conscience to institutions and convincing themselves that accountability lies somewhere else.
The lesson of Nuremberg is not that “those people were different.” It is that they were not.
That is why vigilance matters. That is why blind trust in authority is dangerous. And that is why a healthy society must protect dissent, accountability, and moral courage especially when it is inconvenient.
History does not repeat itself because people forget facts. It repeats itself when people convince themselves, “It could never happen here.”

PICTURE OF THE DAY - DESTROYING THE OSTRICHES WAS THE ONLY OPTION
Take a close look at this picture.
This is the scene CFIA claims was a “high-risk, highly lethal, unprecedented viral threat.”
A virus so dangerous, they said, that hundreds of decades old Ostriches were gunned down in the middle of the night in the most inhumane way, without a single test.
And yet… what do we actually see?
CFIA staff in full hazmat suits standing directly beside a man in regular street clothes.
If this was truly the “ultra-virulent” virus the CFIA described in sworn affidavits…
If this was really a pathogen they claimed could spark national emergency conditions…
If the risk was genuinely so severe that destroying every ostrich was the only option…
Why was even ONE person allowed inside the same enclosure wearing nothing more than everyday clothing?
You can’t have it both ways:
Either the virus was so dangerous that extermination was “necessary,”
Or the situation was not what they told the public or the courts.
This image speaks louder than any press release or affidavit:
The protocols in this picture do not match the fear-based narrative They used to justify mass destruction. They were not treating this like an imminent biological crisis.
They were treating it like a routine operation while telling Canadians something entirely different.
Yet the world was told these were “dangerous” animals.
This picture tells the truth they don’t want to talk about.
Safety protocols don’t lie.
The inconsistency is right here in plain sight.
Do not let propaganda push us over the cliff again. We just lived through lockdowns and mandates now it’s our farms under attack. Healthy animals killed without testing. Families terrorized without evidence.
Our food security threatened by fear, not facts.
