When restoring order and rebuilding a program sometimes you have to let go of a lot of the toxic people in and around your program. I had a parent ask me “why is my son not playing?” This is at halftime btw My response “He hasn’t practiced for two weeks because of a prescribed rest from a doctor. I’ve gotten nothing from a doctor clearing him nor is he in game shape he has also refused to do conditioning and non contact drills while hurt.” He responded by saying “I’m going to need to find another school if you’re not going to play my boy.” I told him that he could take him right now if he wanted. The scene got messy after that and our sro escorted him out. The players actions and parents actions got the player removed from the team. Buy in, be supportive or get out. Playing high school sports is a privilege and I will not have toxic people in my program.

Great summer with @forceout! I hit .402 with a .505 obp, while scoring 32 runs and stealing 42 bases primarily out of leadoff. I also had no errors from the outfield, helping me team secure a 21-11 record vs good competition! @benortiz33 @fjarajr01
