As an overall optimistic Arsenal fan who’s heavily invested in this team, these guys just keep finding ways to rob my optimism every single season, it just genuinely hasn’t been an enjoyable experience for the last couple of months, everything constantly down to the wire, making games difficult for ourselves with unforced errors, shitting the bed every time it’s crunch time, serving up a dire brand of football in a cup final, the list goes o.
The fans were told to show up today and they did even after the Kroupi goal, and that performance is how they’re repaid.
I don’t like the idea of booing the team in a title race but it was fully deserved today man, the fans are tired of the same old narrative coming to reality at the same single point season after season.
If that doesn’t give the players and the manager a kick up the arse I don’t know what will.
But alas, we go again next week, make something happen.
