I truly believe that history will record that when asked by the world media what the Iranian protestors should do, President Trump said: “Keep protesting. Help is on the way.” President Trump’s encouraging message to the brave protestors who have risked everything for their freedom, promising that help is in the way, is one of the most significant statements any president has made at any time in our nation’s history. If the murderous ayatollah’s regime collapses, it will open up options for peace in the Middle East that we have not seen for a thousand years. On the domestic front under President Trump’s leadership, we are unleashing the American economy, beginning with energy production. We have implemented the largest tax cut and spending reduction in American history, and have the most secure border ever – all within one year. I believe 2026 will be the year for growth and prosperity for all. What a year. The good news is that when it comes to President Trump, the best is yet to come.

After illegally and unconstitutionally striking Venezuela, Trump is now selling Venezuelan oil through a campaign donor, and funneling the proceeds to an offshore account in Qatar – creating a potential slush fund with no accountability, oversight, or guardrails for Trump and his allies. His continued abuse of power doesn’t serve the Venezuelan people or the American people – and it certainly doesn’t lower costs for Americans. This outrage is yet another example of his unchecked corruption as he again ignores laws and enriches his friends, donors, and himself.

I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law. If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails.
