@AlanForseth @JDVance I agree with you that a government should not be dictating price. But there should absolutely be a cap on what percentage profit an organization can make per item sold. Because now we are teetering on which is the better of 2 evils. Company greed or government oversight.

Donating is fine. Giving people money for their vote is not. An investigation is needed to determine if giving people money to sign a pledge falls under buying people’s votes. If someone has a similar case with an investigative decision that would be relevant. There is a long it of what can and can’t be done with campaign donations and doing something new can put you in jail.

@franklinisbored @elonmusk You’re right that it’s impossible to completely prevent people from coming through. But it limits people’s ability. Which is the point. Gaps and tears can be repaired periodically once complete. But an unfinished wall leaves multiple mile openings which can take time to cover.
