@AP The Founding Fathers couldn't have imagined that weapons of mass destruction like this would exist when the second amendment was written. This is leaps and bounds deadlier than the drums and fifes used for combat in the Revolutionary War.

This is the future we've been fighting for. You should be able to get a basic red dot, silencer, and several mags in the box when you buy a rifle.

@realcoofy @MITACLLC I mean basically if you're planning in getting a set of 1165s anyway, you might as well get a set of trauma pads to get a free carrier with it even if you're going to use something else just so you have a backup, or you can make a second kit for a different use.

Yeah unfortunately the industry has had to invent new marketing terms ro deal with the CIA-style nomenclature of the NIJ, which does make sense to use to be fair to them. NIJ is basically saying "we assess a failure on product X is statistically insignificant." They are by no means issuing a "guarantee" that something will work 100% of the time, so they say it, "complies with this standard," instead of saying it's, "certified," which is corporate marketing speak.

One of the scummiest things I've ever seen. If you see a company doing something like this, you shouldn't trust them for ANYTHING.

@TerminalBRD NIJ Listed Model is the official NIJ stamp you put on the back of an NIJ Compliant product. The NIJ Tested logo is a knockoff meant to trick you into thinking it's "certified" at a glance if you don't look hard enough at the fine print.

@RMADefense Please tell me exactly what I'm looking at? They're obviously different "stamps," but I just don't know which is right vs. wrong.

Gun Owners of America@GunOwners·
We’re glad to see an ATF Director who understands the Second Amendment exists as a safeguard against tyranny—not a privilege managed by bureaucrats. However, gun owners are watching to see if there’s actually a full rollback of the agency’s overreach and current anti-2A policy.
Gun Owners of America@GunOwners

❗HAPPENING NOW❗ The Oversight Committee hearing on ATF's "gag order" of GOA and violation of gun owners' privacy rights is starting now. This will be newly appointed ATF Director Cekada's first testimony in front of Congress.

No lab reports, no discernible physical address, no names or faces of company executives. Probably a bad sign, guys.

@MorosKostas They're dangerously close to telling people that, "of course 'shall not be infringed' doesn't apply to revolutionary war period muskets," which is very dangerous legal ground for them to stand on. Sure guys, go off.

@RMADefense Agreed. Life is kind of a one-time ordeal. I am looking to get a hold of some of your plates sometime in the future. Keep up the good work. And thank you again for all that you guys do!

I don't mind naming and shaming, but I want people scrutinizing this stuff before they purchase some kind of lifesaving equipment from a nobody company that has no discernible names, faces, factory, etc. Always be on the lookout for slimy tactics like this. Unfortunately this industry is loaded with people like this.
