In the @TransportCttee this morning, Steve Montgomery from the Rail Delivery Group confirmed @RMTunion figure of £318 million for the cost to the taxpayer of indemnifying the TOCs and @BenPBradshaw pointed out that could have been used to fund pay rises for staff.
