No word yet from Highway Patrol on last night's takeover of I-77. Dozens of masked people set the interstate on fire and shot off fireworks. I spoke to a woman in the car of the now viral video of the incident who says her son was scared.
CMPD does not have any information on this. I also reached out to Highway Patrol
This happened last night around 9:30/10 pm on I-77 near the Lakeview Road bridge. No arrests have been announced
