5 years ago, I was gluing my spikes. Today, it reminds me how far we've come. What a World Cup it has been, and a reminder to everyone that Zimbabwe cricket is here to stay. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey, and of course to @pumacricket for sticking together since 2021 🤝

I am saying this for the 100th time. Kids from A level last year have been sitting at home waiting to start university in August. It’s not a clever move to wait then only to go and do an accounting degree for example. Worse still to go and do those useless degrees kuti ugonzi wakaenda ku Uni. We won’t even give you a job at the farm with that degree. Consider doing a trade or a professional qualification. Otherwise you are going to be a useless graduate. @KingJayZim tell these kids

Prepaid water meters make sense. Why should you pay for water you haven't consumed or water that hasn't been supplied? When council fails to supply water, then they shouldn’t charge.

Woke up to some good news. When Citizens Initiative started work at Masibinta Secondary School in Binga, they had 0% pass rate. We built 2 blocks in 2023 and provided text books with the help of @UNmigration. The pass rate increased to 13% that year. In 2024 it rose to 41.03%. The school is now ranked 7th out of 46 in Binga. Even ahead of Binga High School. This reinforces our belief that investing in decent infrastructure is a sure way to improve academic outcomes in our communities. To those who spared their hard-earned money to help the people of Binga, it was not in vain. You have changed lives!

This is the British Foreign Minister, David Lammy, rallying international support to address the Sudan crisis.
He describes it as worse than Gaza, calling it the worst humanitarian crisis on earth.
Where are the African leaders? The last time, they flew private jets to Europe to try to stop a war more than 5,000 miles away, yet they remain silent about a crisis right on their doorstep!
The absence of African leaders from the international conversation on Sudan is disheartening.
