@wesstreeting I think your oversight is that many of those striking doctors are not UK graduates, and everyone else recognises that we need them and to disincentivise them is this way will be counterproductive

You missed the part about emergency legislation to deal with UK prioritisation, which will kick in for the current application round - reducing the ratio of applicants to places from 4:1 to *less than* 2:1. Was than an oversight? Or are you wilfully misleading BMA members?

“NHS is broken” rhetoric makes those of us on the front line feel completely disheartened and devalued. My corner of the NHS is not broken. As I’ve said before, the NHS is not one blob but a patchwork, many sections of which are saving lives and helping people every minute.

@theveindoc Within endoscopy units, yes, many units are constrained by buildings designed for 50% of the current workload, so the W/L is rising, even though there’s endoscopists.
