@EveSimmns I hadn't realised re the Valium ... that really does suggest someone who is highly agitated and in a lot of distress. He must have been suffering a great deal.

This seems like a cut and dry story, but it's anything but. The biggest psychiatric risk of SSRIs is stopping suddenly - and we don't know if this was the case here, but it is implied. 1/3 #antidepressants thetimes.com/uk/society/art…

No one denies the positive impact Dr Newson has had - but some of her prescribing practices are very unconventional, whistleblowers from her clinic have serious concerns and there are worrying patient stories emerging. Panorama has done well to highlight these.

This argument again - also used by Dr Newson herself. My question is, how many does there have to be before it’s a problem? How bad do things have to get?
