@Gamer_Girl_Nowa I tried explaining some yugioh to some people, I'm a bad teacher but I tried my best using swordsoul, imo a really simple deck I really underestimated how the simplest things I take for granted take time to understand

@RNDOM21 Its a hard thing to really get as its hard to teach. Its why I am chill with my opponents because I would like to see people come to locals. Enjoy the experience of paper being also a sociable experience with people who share a hobby

I think competitive people in yugioh (online only players) can be toxic but in paper I've had more dogshit experiences against the guy on a rogues gallery decks that try and start shit if you play anything remotely viable.

@Gamer_Girl_Nowa True, people underestimate how different playing master duel and tcg at events are, there's way more pressure plus when you're sitting across someone who does not want you to win I had to adapt to that for a while and tbh I'm still not good at it

@RNDOM21 Yeah like i might get a little frustrated as im used to knowing most ways I play and how to quickly asses cards but I'm not gonna take it out on my opponent because not everyone has the experience of paper and having to play a best of 3 and are trying decks out to see.

@Gamer_Girl_Nowa Meanwhile yugiboomers insist on a thing that's no longer there and actively shit on the thing we enjoy I'd much rather take my round 3 game 2 opponent telling me multiple times 10 minutes before the round ends to hurry up tbh

@Gamer_Girl_Nowa It's a weird thing At my first locals as new player trying to learn and find himself in what he likes most people were understanding, some may have been frustrated with me making missplays/taking too long to think but they were never aggressive about it
