Very productive week of ROV training from Portland.

A busy maintenance period for the team in preparation for the next Systems Proformance Assessment Trials (SPATs). We even managed a visit from the next generation of unmanned vessels, RN MotorBoat Abdiel.

Another successful CDT trials period complete by the MASTT team. The focus is now the recovery of equipment back to Portsmouth.

While conducting autonomous trials from Portland, the MASTT team were awarded the Platinum Jubilee medals in recognition of their service. #PlatinumJubileeCelebration

Welcome to the team CPO Morton who takes over as the 2iC (& Tweeto!) The next couple of weeks will be spent understanding the MMCM capability being trialled by MASTT. CPO Buckley moves on to training at BRNC as a SUY, before coming back into the MCM world. @RN_MTXG #RN #MCM

The MMCM capability enables @RoyalNavy personnel to operate from ashore. In this picture the OiC is acting as the Decision Maker with Mine Warfare Ratings operating the USV and TSAM. In this latest trial, data was gathered at a speed of 10kts! @ThalesUK @L3HarrisTech
