I'll never forgive myself for getting Maddy killed by these pet murderers from Pet world, Pune station. Parag (so called doctor who sent incompetent people to treat kitten), and Prasad (in red shirt in below photograph, probably not even a veterinary doctor, a compounder)

I don’t know who needs to hear this but having children just to ensure someone looks after you in old age is a terrible idea. That’s not a reason to procreate. Your children don’t have to care for you. Please don’t have babies just because you’re scared to be alone.

Story time: one of my mom’s friends’ husbands used to work in the USA while she was living in India. She had a broken phone for years when I asked her why dont you change your phone. You have two young kids and you live alone in a city like Delhi. She said, “It's her husband’s money, not hers.” Then when her husband came from the US, he got lots of gifts such as Apple products, tech, etc for his extended family and some clothes for his wife. He very generously gave her his old iPhone when he upgraded to a new one. And this was one of the reasons I worked super hard to be independent. Men could make a career, because they have a wife at home taking care of their home, their kids, and in most cases their parents too. This is the cost of invisible labour.

I often see Indian couples in their late 70s. Highly educated well to do husband (Doctor, engineer, Govt officer) and often good looking even in 70s. While wife is barely educated/illiterate with traces of dehat still visible. Without arrange marriage all those women would’ve just lived in Dehat. Arranged marriage single handedly changed fortunes of many Dehati/untalented women atleast in last century.

When was the last time a man woke up to realize he had his rights taken away? Why should it be different for us. Forget the fact they are coming for birth control. They want to repeal the 19th Amendment. THEY INTEND TO MAKE WOMEN SLAVES AGAIN! ONLY WOMEN CAN SAVE EACH OTHER!

The big mistake opposition leaders make is that they believe in themselves a little too much and in the rot of the system a little too less. So they keep fighting elections where the victory has already been decided somewhere in a back room. They know it, everyone knows it, but walking out means no government, no power, nothing. So they take their chances. And they lose. And in losing, they do something far more damaging than losing. They make the whole thing look real. They legitimize the corrupted system. That's what happened with TMC. The sangh was never really worried. They knew Mamata would fight. A party like that cannot afford to not fight. And so she did, and so it went exactly as it was meant to go. The trap had been laid. The thing is, there was another way. Not a guaranteed way, but a braver one. A party of TMC's size and popularity publicly walking out and saying we refuse to participate in this farce. It would have been a move for which the sangh wasn't prepared. It has never really happened in India at that scale. It would have forced people to sit up and ask why. It would have been loud in a way that no protest after a lost election ever is. It would have forced the commission and the courts to totally shed the masks and expose themselves. Post-defeat noise is just noise. Pre-election defiance is a statement. The world would have noticed and questioned it. But that didn't happen. And now no amount of protests, statements or anger changes anything. Everyone will say the verdict is the people's verdict. The commission was neutral. The courts were watching. So why cry now. The worst part - the fake popularity of one man has gotten further strengthened.

When men say women don't contribute to history... Your WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth exist because of a woman. Hedy Lamarr. Patented the frequency-hopping technology in 1942. The military used it. She received nothing.

If a monkey hoarded more bananas than it could eat, while most of the other monkeys starved, scientists would study that monkey to figure out what was wrong with it. When humans do it, we put them on the cover of Forbes.

I genuinely don’t understand why certain jobs require degrees or even certificates, when it honestly takes abt 2 weeks of training to grasp the job.

No one warned me that working a 9-5 job basically means you cannot see the dentist, doctor, or handle any appointments, because you are at work when they are open, and when you get off work, they are closed.

To all the 20 IQ Hindu majority (10s of crores of people) who think Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are entering your country in large numbers, you are 20 IQ for a reason. Bhikamango kay ghar kabhi choor nahi aate. No one robs a beggar's house. And secondly, the few miserable souls that do come, do so because Modi's BJP is useless at national security and border protection. And thirdly, those few that do enter, not even 0.000001% of population do minimum wage jobs that you wouldn't be caught dead doing. There is a reason Bharat is a VishwaGutter and Modi is kicking your ass for 12 years and will do so for 50 years to come. The majority is really really fucking stupid and pathetic. I am so, so glad I left this shit-show a long time back (back then India was far more tolerable country waise).

A girl is pregnant at 13 and everyone debates abortion. Nobody debates why a grown man felt entitled to her body.
