Every fifth year is not same as every five years. Every 2nd Tuesday is a point. A year is an interval between two points. Now draw a number line. Set 9/8/2022=0, count to 2nd Tuesday of fifth year (5 marks)

Quick Civic Lesson: The next General Election in Kenya is August 2026, not 2027. This is not a debate — it is the law. Why? Article 136(2)(a) of the Constitution says presidential elections must happen on the second Tuesday of August every five years. The last election was 9th August 2022. Add five years: 9th August 2027. But elections are held in August, not after August — and the cycle must complete before the fifth anniversary ends. Therefore, the General Election must happen in August 2026 — specifically on the second Tuesday. Anyone saying 2027 is either ignorant, misled, or playing mischief to illegally extend their time in office. Stay woke. Defend the Constitution. Prepare for August 2026.

Last weekend , Kenyans in Germany came together to bid our outgoing ambassador Balozi Amolo farewell. Very rarely does one find an ambassador who is reachable even via WhatsApp to the citizens. Balozi was very helpful to Kenyans in need . Sometimes when there was an emergency we would even text him over the weekends not knowing if he would respond or not being a weekend but he still got back and helped .
