Indeed. I use the addon, “Mesh Data Transfer”, and put any body adjustment shapekeys on the cloth cage itself. Then I use drivers to animate the “growth” shapekey values when the control bone goes from 0 - 1 locally on the Y axis.

@Zoidrawz Dude you should be a teacher one of those days. You seem to understand all this so well and dule in the physics so perfectly.

The physics are simulated by using a cloth cage and surface deforming the body.

@ROtteroo @SuperFurPen @lewdbunboi Basically I painted the whole thing in parts Like the image. Then I cut them up, making sure each mesh island has enough geo to deform well. (I made a geo-nodes tool that does this for me.) Then I just rig and animate it, like I would any 3D model. :) x.com/mootsider/stat…
