@SplashMHS Can you elaborate on this? Attraction development takes years. No one disputes TWDC likes money. For what reason would they NOT monetize (take advantage of) an anniversary, even knowing they were planning a replacement?

The removal of Splash Mountain was announced exactly a month after the murder of the George Floyd. Disney claims that they had the idea to get rid of the attraction beforehand, but several pieces of evidence, such as Splash Mountain being celebrated in 2019, contradict this.

@RPD0285 @JDfromNY206 Edge had to leave to go film for Percy Jackson. They wrote him off of television by having to take a break to take care of his wife (who was just attack by FTR). They just kept Cage on the shelf for 6 months. Not moved by them restarting this feud 6 months later
