RPD Snap has conveniently forgotten she had an operation yesterday - blissfully not caring about her stitches one tiny bit, and giving her Mum palpitations. Still - her Roolo treat toy is keeping her busy! Brilliant enrichment toy and conveniently available on our website. 😬 Indestructible too! Even for Malis! Having got the day wrong (boss’s fault!), we are delighted to update you on @RPDSnap’s surgery, which at first glance has been a huge success. Her mum told us this evening it’s ‘early days’ as the procedure was only done today - but: ✅ Cancerous lump removed ✅ Safely home ✅ A good nap and now Snap is slightly less sleepy (& actually quite bouncy!)😁 ✅ Vet extremely pleased ✅ Very smart cone attached with instructions to ‘spoil me’ on it (just in case there was any doubt) ✅ Family on full nursing duties ✅ Rewards incoming ❌ Humurous comments about new tail hairstyle discouraged… 😬 ❌ Tail wagging to be temporarily limited, as it might bonk against something hard and undo those stitches, which the vet said should be left uncovered to monitor and heal faster. So fingers crossed the vets have got all the lump out (they’re very positive) and she heals fast. We will be assisting with the costs of course, and it will be a pleasure to see this awesome girl from @WMPolice and @WMPDogs get better and no longer have to think about worrying tumours.
