Had a great dinner last night at @RPMItalianDC for restaurant week. the food was good, ambience was nice & Customer service was well Now that kitchen tho, they moved slow as hell my reservation was 8pm I didnt get my entree til damn near 10pm I had to rush to eat & pack my food

I made reservations for dinner at @RPMItalianDC Upon arriving we were promptly seated & greeted by our server. Dinner & drinks were delectable 😋 & our server was attentive & funny! We had seats on the patio but it started raining so our server seamlessly seated us inside.

So I planned our very first wedding anniversary.. we were supposed to be in Miami with Aleiny & @maye_hv but the trip got WAY pricey. instead I decided a staycation was the right move 👌🏽 This is how we spent our special time in #WashingtonDC for our 1st #Anniversary 🧵👇🏽

@RPMItalianDC We frequent established restaurants like the RPM all the time and spent more than $1K, just tonite. Never have we experienced such bad hospitality and mistreatment. The most horrible experience ever! Cheats! Please double (triple in our case) check your bills!

Interesting that @Joes_DC and @RPMItalianDC (same @LettuceEats group) have this “3% processing fee” on their in-person menus. But the @Joes_DC website uses the language of government mandates which @DoiMoiDC likely borrowed

@easyout Hey, we're sorry for the confusion. This 3% surcharge is to cover PPE to protect our employees. We're always happy to waive the fee if you request. We hope you'll continue to support restaurants during this time and appreciate you dining with us!

What’s this ⁦@RPMItalianDC⁩? What government mandates are responsible for this surcharge? We asked that it be removed but buyer beware. By the way, the wait staff was excellent.
