Initially I was mad and hurt that Lane Kiffin left. I am now seeing he might have been holding us back. Yes with Ole Miss’s resources and Ole Miss being willing to take a chance on him, he got us to change our mindset on what Ole Miss Football could be. He gave us a winning mindset. The only problem is that he never actually believed he could win big at Ole Miss. He believed that the logo didn’t carry enough weight. The stadium was too small. The fans didn’t show up (which is a lie). Thats why he went to LSU because he believed that all he needed was a “bigger” logo and a stadium with 100k seats and players would flood to him. We are now seeing Ole Miss continue to soar post-Kiffin and that is due to having a head coach who believes he can win big at Ole Miss and the believes in the players. The players feed off of Pete Golding’s energy and it’s why Ole Miss will continue to win going forward. The system is in place and it just needed a Head Coach that was committed and believed you can win at Ole Miss. #HottyToddy
