🚨 THE ONLY LIQUID RON GUIDE YOU'LL NEED 🚨
🔹 What is Liquid $RON and what is it for?
In simple terms, liquidron.com is a protocol that lets you stake your $RON without locking your liquidity.
Meaning, you can continue earning staking rewards and still use your capital in other DeFi strategies.
🔹 But how does it actually work?
When you stake $RON the traditional way, your funds get locked.
You can’t move them, use them as collateral, lend them out for yield, or provide liquidity on Katana to earn fees, for example.
What LiquidRON does is simple but powerful:
It takes all the $RON deposited and distributes it across multiple validators (to balance APRs).
In return, it gives you a token called $LRON, which represents your staked $RON + all the rewards accumulated over time.
This $LRON is not locked. You can move it, trade it, or even provide liquidity with it (currently on Katana, and more DeFi use cases are expected soon).
On top of that, the protocol performs daily auto-restake, which boosts your yield through compound interest.
If you’re not manually compounding rewards, this gives you a serious edge.
📈 REWARDS
Something that often confuses people: with LiquidRON, you don’t have to manually claim rewards.
The protocol auto-compounds them, growing the total RON in the pool over time.
As a result, each $LRON represents more RON as time goes on.
🔁 Practical example:
Day 1: the protocol receives 1M $RON → it issues 1M $LRON
Let’s assume daily re-staking results in 10% annual compounded yield
After 1 year, the protocol has 1.1M $RON in the pool, but still only 1M $LRON in circulation
Result: 1 $LRON = 1.1 $RON
That’s why $LRON appreciates against the original $RON over time.
🤔 What happens if I sell or transfer my $LRON?
Super simple: you're transferring the value of the RON you originally staked plus all accumulated rewards.
The person who receives your $LRON also receives the "claim" on your re-staked rewards.
📌 Right now, you can already provide $LRON as liquidity on Katana.
However, at the time of this post, there are still no DeFi protocols that let you use it as collateral or lend it for additional yield.
💸 FEES
The protocol charges a 6.5% fee on the rewards (not your capital).
There’s also a kind of "pseudo-fee" on deposits — designed to prevent users from depositing right before rewards are distributed and then instantly withdrawing.
That initial fee doesn’t affect your real long-term value.
⚠️ RISKS
As with everything in DeFi, there are risks.
While LiquidRON is audited (link available in the FAQ), there are always inherent risks in using smart contracts.
You're staking via a third-party protocol, so that adds smart contract risk, including potential exploits.
It's important to understand these risks before interacting with protocols like this.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 2,706 individual sales for a collection of less than 7,000 NFTs. Ronin NFTs were added to Opensea last week, and yesterday they announced a new XP shipment for people that trade them on their platform. I can't remember the last time there was such insane daily trading activity, what’s the alpha?

since $ron circulating marketcap had a reclassification to match whitepaper token supply schedule, i find it more useful to look at fully diluted valuation.
$ron is the lowest in FDV terms it has been since november of 2023. that is to say the price of all tokens that will eventually be in existence is $772.8 million if you could buy it all today with zero slippage and zero fees.
some look at this price drop as a crisis. others look at this price drop as an opportunity.
as we can see from the token supply schedule in the figure below (white background), supply issuance today is quite high (we are at the teal circle). it continues to be for a while. but if we look forward 2 years, 3 years... the $ron supply rate decreases significantly. this means staking $ron 2, 3 years from now won't yield nearly as much RON. RON will be much harder to get.
In my opinion, we are in the thick of the staking golden age while also going through a difficult macroeconomic environment. although token values are down significantly year over year and we all are much poorer than we were in USD value, dedicated stakers are receiving a lot of tokens if they have a lot of tokens in principal. this is the staking golden age.
today, $ron is easy to get. so easy that supply is vastly overpowering demand. but i don't think it will be that way forever. as we move forward, i contend supply rate of ron will decrease and demand for ron will increase. when that happens, those who continued to stake through this period here will benefit. how long it takes for this to happen, i don't know. and could it worse before it gets better? definitely.
for me, these next couple of years is when I plan to accumulate as many $ron as I possibly can for as cheap as I can so as long as the team continues to dominate and execute relentlessly as they have for years and years. but above accumulating coins comes survival.
macroeconomic liquidity conditions have been tight unlike the last cycle. covid money printing put us in a tough spot. It has led to high inflation, high debt/deficits, low growth. our current government has made the decision to reduce inflation, reduce the deficit, reduce growth. with that comes pain especially for risk on/growth assets.
but to that i say, it is only the hard things that are worth doing.
ronin is still dominant, the games on their network are still building and growing over the long term. they are fully committed to building sustainable, long-term, great products and services that change what gaming means forever.
my plan is to survive, accumulate, build, prosper.
