Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

@MrSingularity2 Can’t imagine how much time the production would take. With that in mind, they would probably have to chop up the story and end up with a half assed version. Plus, the cast would probably age before the next season even starts. Haha

Guess Anime isn’t “enough” anymore now that it’s mainstream. The western world wants a live-action version of everything. Can’t we just be happy with the source material? Anime is the final form imho, is it me or am I just not seeing it?

@Kal_Desh Yes! I also love the got intro honestly. One of th best games out there. GoT introduced me to elden ring. Sadly still not finished it yet haha

@RROBCM Yōtei def holds as a proper successor for such a high bar in Tsushima! Sucker Punch has done so much proper. Leaves a lasting impression for sure. The intro on GoT will always stick with me, just the way the flowers flow in the wind and how they interact with the horse. 😮‍💨

I believe this is one of the few real contenders to Unreal Engine. Sucker Punch Productions has its own in-house engine to create this, and it’s remarkable. GoT and this is truly one of the best games out there.

@MrSingularity2 Very true! The only problem with unreal engine is optimization. But building your own in-house engine is something.

Unreal Engine is great indeed but not fully optimized for the PS4/5, it’s more of a general purpose tool. That is why these fully built engines optimized for the PS5 always outcompete Unreal powered games. But slowly that gap is narrowing. With companies like CDPR taking that challenge on for the Witcher and the new Cyberpunk. Let’s see how that goes.

Hey Guys! Well, I think it’s been ages since I’ve done my last public announcement, but I just wanted to come out today and let you guys in on what we’ve been working on for the past three months: a visual update to the OG casings. It’s a very scary thing to speak that out loud since OG cases in general are very well loved and if it ain’t broken, why fix it? Well, I just felt that since we as a project are getting close to our fourth birthday we as individuals and creatives have been growing quite a bit, and our CG team is no exception. @RROBCM has been putting in the hours turning every little creative concept that I have into CG reality. Over the years, he’s been sharpening his skills and improved further on what he was already great at. And Jugora has transformed into an absolute unit when it comes to CG creative work. He has gotten so good that he gets to work for the biggest clients in the world. @Nike , @LouisVuitton , @on_running, just to name a few. And since to me at least, OGs have always stood for the value of manual craftsmanship in a digital space, I wanted to celebrate that craftsmanship once more. Man, it still hasn’t really sunk in how far we’ve come. I remember getting rewarded with an Oremob V1 ring for creating a fan art—flexing it in our barangay wasn’t enough, lol! I’ll try to be more creative and bring even cooler stuff to life soon.
