@RRRavon @PeteThamel What rule changed? The rule has been one free undergraduate transfer. It has been that way for many years. Tez transferred a second time prior to graduating. The NCAA was loose with exceptions for awhile... but an exception was always needed.

UNC AD Bubba Cunningham also releases a statement. "On eight different occasions, the organization had the opportunity to demonstrate it can make sound and reasonable decisions in the best interest of student-athletes based on individual circumstances. Instead, the NCAA made a maddening, frustrating and wrong decision -- for Tez, for college football and for college athletics."

The NCAA's "rules" are intended to stop all of the transfers and "school shopping," so how does it make sense that Tez cannot play and JT can? Tez has played ball for 1 team.

@RRRavon @PeteThamel JT Daniels transferred once before graduating. Tez was denied an exemption to allow his second undergraduate transfer... different rules for graduate transfers.

It's clear NCAA ... couldn't care less about the young people it's supposed to be supporting. I've lost all faith in its ability to lead & govern the sport. They've messed so many things up as it relates to college football & now their failures have negatively impacted the life of one of our own. The decision makers at the NCAA & the committee should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to a young man. We've got complete rosters overhauled through transfer portal, players playing in their 8th year of college, at their 4th school. Yet, Tez Walker, who only played football at 1 school, isn't eligible. It makes no sense & never will. Shame on you, NCAA. SHAME ON YOU!"

@Azjazzman21 @Brett_McMurphy They adopted/announced the new rules AFTER Tez transferred (in January 2023). He transferred under the old rules in good faith that he could play. The NCAA could rightfully enforce the rules if they were in effect before someone transferred--they shouldn't retroactively apply.

@BubbaUNC I want anyone at the NCAA to explain why Tez cannot play, but JT Daniels is playing for his 4th school in 6 years...

@katievrice Fix the reservation system for Rise of the Resistance, and fix the ride where it doesn't break down so much. It sucks to pay for the travel, tickets, etc. and maybe not even be able to get on it for the day you're there! 🤬

@AToastToTheHost 🤢🤮 Something for you to consider...Dean Smith was in the USAF and was an assistant BB coach & head golf coach at USAFA when it opened. At UNC, he took time to talk to UNC AFROTC cadets and sign memorabilia for the senior cadets. Reconsider your decision!

Since my bracket is completely busted, I can get behind Coach K to win it all in his last dance. 👍🏼
