she was a good mother to zuko and a bad mother to azula and that in General makes her a bad mother. ofc its because of ozai, and yes shes a victim of grooming and abuse - but i believe these two statment can mutually coexist.

@mechanicbug She loved Azula, which even Azula would admit to in her broken state. But from her prospective, she prioritized Zuko (Who Ozai was going to have killed several times) over her. Which, if we follow the comics, is what Ozai had planned for to drive them apart.
