2024 is going to be a year of experimentation for me. Two years ago, I left the startup I co-founded. Since then, I've transitioned to freelancing and indie side projects, but most importantly became a dad and committed to spending lots of quality time with my daughter. While freelancing paid me more money than I ever made with corporate and startup salaries and my little indie projects are fun & growing, I am still on a journey to find the "big thing" I want to focus on in the mid-to-long run - if such a thing even exists. I am not sure which path I want to follow - venture vs. bootstrapped, a portfolio of small bets vs. focusing on one, staying solo vs. building a team. My biggest strength - being a generalist with many interests, can also be my biggest weakness. What I strongly feel - in order to be successful, I will need to define a path and then follow it with discipline. So in order to find out which path I want to follow in the longer term, i will experiment with different ideas and approaches over the coming months. I'll be sharing more about this as I go - the first experiments are already underway!

Which tech stack are you missing with current available SaaS boilerplates out here ?

@frankdilo @typefully What do you think of a tool that does this job? Like a dashboard where you have all SaaS and tracks the invoices (more or less real time)

Marketing or Development first?

Where do you find your SaaS clients? Curious about your strategies based on your niches.

Who's using Reddit to find new SaaS ideas and validate them? I've used it in the past month and so far I've gained some results. Will try to iterate in the next month and the share some insights.

Landing page or product first?

Software Engineering is like deep dive into hard problems to find the easiest solution possible. Is It easy? Hell no. Is it worth it in the end? Hell yes

I will start to look a Notion's API next week to give it a try to connect InsideDocx with Notion. Someone asked me to add that feature. Let's see how much time will require.

Got any cheat codes for SaaS marketing? I'm all ears.

What's the best advice that you would like to say to your younger self?

I've put the milestone to onboard the first user for insidedocx.com at the beginning of September. I'm excited about that. Find that one by cold call. Let's see what will happen.
