@ODSTaco @MothmanFan_ Again, for the umpteenth million time, this change did not make HGs stronger, weaker, or more interesting. All it did was make more of our already bloated catalog of weapons only a handful of people use regularly even more bloated. That’s a problem.

@ODSTaco @MothmanFan_ You either take extra time to aim at the weak spot with light pen, taking attention away from other threats, or you mow them down the exact same way originally done with medium pen, but with heavy pen to get it over with quicker and with less focus drawn away from other threats.

I'm starting to see why yellow paint has become so common in games....

@AngyVikingr @MothmanFan_ Medium pen either deals less ballistics damage, has a lower ammo count, has a slower fire rate, has worse ergonomics, or a combination of the four compared to light pen. There is no reason to use it if the other weapons are more efficient, which thus limits the viable weapons.

For example, removing any incentive to bring medium pen to the bug front *limits* the amount of viable weapons for the bug front. Aim has nothing to do with it.

@OhDoughPlays I will be honest, I do like that the stratagems do actually come from the super destroyers now, but I don’t like that they don’t reposition themselves to avoid hitting terrain (sometimes even in mega cities).

The core gameplay is a horde shooter. These modifiers aren't that LMFAO. The mod you mention is in the game just by default now ever since super earth invasion. It causes orbitals to enter at a terrible angle thus making them worse, classic arrowhead move.
