Very impressed with how well the @GallantGazelles have picked up playing the recorder in such a short space of time. We can now read and play 4 notes! 🎼

In music, we practised the notes we have already learnt (B, A and G) before moving onto introducing E. @RTMusicFeed

Another week, another note. Year 6 can now play 3 notes on their recorders: B, A and G. We are also learning to read these notes on a piece of music. 🎼 @RTMusicFeed

Year 5 beginning their first Music lesson of the year looking at the ukulele. They were introduced to some basic chords and how to hold their instrument correctly. @RTMusicFeed

I’m so impressed with the Eagles recorder playing. In two lessons, they have learnt to play B and A and read the notes on a stave! @RTMusicFeed

Today we are having our first ever Ukulele lesson! So far we have learnt the names of the chords and have practised our strumming skills. 🎵 @RTMusicFeed

In music, we are creating our own raps. This lesson focused on creating percussion rhythms for our instrumental section. We used the iPads to record our rhythms using a form of notation then practised them using beaters. @GallantGazelles
