Professor Dr. Jordan Stone joins our alumni Seth Miller in declaring IPC a particular church in the PCA! Praise the Lord for all his goodness!

Sunday, February 15th was a banner day in the life of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Our elders (including Seth) were installed, deacons were ordained, and a commission of the Pacific Northwest presbytery declared IPC a particular church in the Presbyterian Church in America, with all the rights and privileges thereunto!! The evening featured wonderful charges from @prseverson and @PastrBlastr1, and a fantastic sermon from @jordanmarkstone of @RTS_Dallas, whose preaching Seth & I sat under before we moved to Idaho to plant IPC. We are grateful to God for everything he is doing to perpetuate the worship of his holy name through our little church. I pray that we will always be faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission. Thank you to all of our internet friends for your encouragement, prayers, and support. The unbridled glory of Jesus Christ will endure forever!

The conclusion of the Lord’s Prayer teaches us to rely on God alone in prayer, to praise him for his kingdom, power, and glory, and to affirm our confidence that he hears us.

Everything that exists comes from God’s hand, continues by His power, and moves toward His glory. Our lives and all creation revolve around Him alone. May we live recognizing His sovereignty and give Him praise forever.
