The opinion, delivered by Barrett, confirms that federal law does not shield these brokers from state negligence lawsuits.
This will likely help force brokers into being MUCH more careful about which carriers they use, because they want to avoid lawsuits
PURGE THE CDL SYSTEM and hold all trucking companies liable!

Cincinnati big Baba Miller was the best performer in Game 1 at the NBA Scouting Combine.
Miller scored 20 points, including 5-of-6 on threes.
Currently projected as a 2nd-round pick, Miller measured in at 6’10.5” with a 7’1.75” wingspan.

Game 1 of the NBA Draft Combine scrimmages in the books. A lot of future longtime NBA players, a lot of strong outings. Baba Miller dropped impressive flashes of unique talent and versatility beyond his 20 points. Jaden Bradley ran the show, scored, and played outstanding defense. John Blackwell with a strong 16 points and solid D. Rueben Chinyelu, Tarris Reed, Emanuel Sharp, Billy Richmond and others all helped themselves.

Agree with this. If Mets were hitting, especially key acquisitions, presumably they'd have more wins/every mistake wouldn't be as magnified. 1B has been the only glaring problem. Though Robert wasn't as good as advertised. And I sure wouldn't put Ibanez back at 3B anytime soon.

@NYNJHarper I think it looks a lot worse than it is because they can’t score. By most defensive metrics they are actually good despite several guys in new spots. But when there is zero margin for error because you have no offense it looks worse.
