Today we are remembering one of our Brothers. It’s been 5 years since we tragically lost Justin in an off-duty accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family today and always♥️

Our 310-FIRE line operators have been busy! This month alone we have received over 800 phone calls. Thank you to everyone who has reported wildfires, your diligence helps us respond quickly to new wildfires. Remember, if you see suspicious smoke or fire in the forest, report it!

Paramedics, firefighters & dispatchers are doing everything they can to fill in the gaps, but Alberta’s EMS crisis is pushing all first responders to a breaking point. As wildfires rage on across AB, we're left with even less resources to help our communities. Lives are at risk.

We were honoured to participate in our second Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal ceremony yesterday. We celebrated 19 of our members and their outstanding contributions to communities throughout Alberta. Congratulations to our recipients!

Curtis was a Medicine Hat Firefighter. He was proud not only to serve his community as a Qualified Officer, but also as an IAFF leader. Our deepest condolences to Curtis’ family, friends and his Medicine Hat Firefighters brothers and sisters. He will be missed by so many people
