@RV_Vault Totally agree.
Rust is quickly becoming the go-to for serious Web3 infrastructure. The memory safety and performance edge it gives is huge for these high-stakes systems. Solidity for contracts, Rust for the solid backbone. The talent shortage is definitely real.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝟯 🛡️
Solidity is for logic, but Rust is for infrastructure. As we scale high-performance, non-custodial systems, the demand for Rust engineers has hit a tipping point. If you aren't building (or hiring) with memory safety in mind, you're building on sand.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁: Over 80% of new L1/L2 protocols (Solana, Sui, NEAR) are Rust-based. It’s the primary language for anyone serious about performance.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗚𝗮𝗽: Rust specialists command a 30-50% salary premium. While the market median is rising, top-tier talent in this space is rarer than ever.
• 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁: For products like CavePay, Rust isn't just a preference—it’s a security mandate. Its concurrency and memory safety features are critical for protecting user assets.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁: Less than 15% of Web3 devs are proficient in Rust, making it the #1 hiring priority for protocol teams.
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲:
𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Don't just learn syntax. Build CLI tools and contribute to open-source infrastructure. The transition from Web2 to Web3 is smoothest through Rust’s strict compiler.
𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Stop looking for "cheap" devs. Focus on upskilling and offer competitive base salaries. At CavePay, we start our technical roles at a $8,000 – $14,000/month floor to ensure we attract the "diamonds."
Web3 is moving away from "move fast and break things" toward "build secure and scale." Rust is the tool for that evolution.

The "SMM manager" era is over. In 2026, scaling a high-security DeFi product requires a hybrid: part analyst, part growth hacker, part storyteller. We analyzed compensation for Growth & BD roles in mid-stage startups to see what top-tier talent actually costs today.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
• 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀: $96K–$168K/year, usually paid in stables (USDT/USDC).
• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀: Top performers command an additional 20–40% based on TVL growth, retention, or swap volume.
• 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Founder-Led Marketing expertise and the ability to translate "hard" technical security into "soft" retail narratives.
• 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱: Move away from pure "hype" towards sustainable KPI-driven growth models.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
• Product Stage: Startups moving from live desktop versions to global scaling pay a premium for "0 to 1" experience.
• Technical Depth: Marketing leads who understand smart contracts and non-custodial security earn 30% more than "standard" marketers.
• Direct ROI Impact: Strategies tied to referral loops and revenue dashboards are valued highest.
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝟯 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁:
1 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁: High-level roles should start at a $8K/month floor.
2 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁: Don’t just read the docs. Download the app, feel the UX, and find the gaps before the first interview.
3 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: In a saturated wallet market, growth is easy; keeping users is where the real money is made.
DeFi is evolving from "degen hype" to institutional-grade products. Your compensation should reflect that shift.

POV: Your friend bought ETH at $4,800 and is still waiting for the "to the moon" moment.

Right now on Upbit and across the market, three coins are really standing out.
XRP - our old favorite. It's still one of the most traded assets on Upbit. Volumes are steady, Koreans have known it forever and hold it a lot. Doesn't moon hard, but doesn't dump hard either.
ORCA - this one's more interesting. Huge volumes the last few days, especially from the Korean side. It's a Solana DeFi project, lots of buying on Upbit. Looks like it might run more.
Fluent (BLEND) - the freshest one. Got listed on Upbit yesterday and pumped hard right away. Koreans are jumping in heavy through the KRW pair. Looks hot for now, but after moves like that there's always a correction.
Overall vibe: the market's slowly shifting toward institutions, but retail still wants to play with alts. I'm holding small positions in all three, nothing too leveraged.
Who's in what? Curious to hear.

One of the most significant regulatory developments in years. Clear rules for digital assets = more institutional capital and sustainable growth.
Short-term tailwind for BTC and the broader sector.
