@rachbarnhart For all of the people who are so antagonist to Rachel’s request for information, are you not the least bit curious as to how many taxpayer dollars, if any, are going toward this assignment? Are we paying for the deputy’s travel, food, hotels, overtime? What’s the total cost?

@BuzzPatterson @BobLonsberry @HillaryClinton Buzz, you’re a good American and probably a good guy. But do you give Clinton any credit for turning massive deficits into surpluses, while Trump’s deficit this year 1.78 trillion? We need some fiscal discipline in the White House. Biden sucked too, but not as much as Don.

@HillaryClinton Ma’am, I was the Air Force Lt. Colonel who carried the nuclear football for your husband inside that “people’s house” you’re suddenly so precious about. I saw it all up close for two years. While Bill was getting blow jobs in the Oval Office from an intern and groping female Air Force enlisted crew on Air Force One, you and your staff treated the military with open disdain, like we were the help, not the men and women sworn to protect this nation. The disrespect for anything non-Clinton was palpable. You lecture about “respect for the institution” while your husband lost the nuclear codes and shrugged it off. And when you finally slinked out in 2001? You and your crew trashed the place—vandalism, theft, glue in drawers, obscene messages, stolen property, and filth left behind for the next administration. The GAO confirmed it. Classy exit from the “people’s house.” The White House belongs to the American people, not your grifting dynasty. They just elected a fighter who actually respects the military and the office. Keep ripping off poor kids in Haiti, selling your merch and clutching pearls. Sit down, bitch. The adults are back in charge.
Hillary Clinton@HillaryClinton

Remember, during today's literal cage match on the White House grounds: No matter what, it's not his house. It's our house. Get a hat, coaster, or sticker to support groups and candidates who will respect the form AND the function of the people's house. shop.onwardtogether.org/collections/ou…

@Sheriff_Baxter I think the Sheriff’s point might be that the defendant should have been sentenced to incarceration rather than probation for the last offfense, which apparently not his first. Maybe some jail time would have deterred him. Maybe not. But probation clearly didn’t.

Fourth stolen vehicle case since 2022 - that we know of. Past probation. Multiple arrest warrants for failing to appear in court. This is exactly the type of repeat conduct that demands earlier detention and intervention. rochesterfirst.com/crime/repeat-s…

@BobLonsberry Not a word about Trump’s $1.7 billion payout to his supporters, including J6 rioters and organizations controlled by Trump family? Or the settlement or his absurd $10 billion lawsuit against US govt for disclosure of his tax returns, which showed he paid no taxes?

This seems to be video of the Sunday attempt by the Rochester Fire Department to rescue a man stranded on the island below the Upper Falls. The department has said the high water and violent current threw three firefighters from their boat into the water, and people familiar with the situation have said that one firefighter's life was in jeopardy, as seemingly depicted here. The crew involved was released from duty for the balance of its shift, something sometimes done after traumatic events. What the situation speaks of is the incredible commitment and selfless courage of the members of the Rochester Fire Department, who here put their lives in jeopardy to help a stranger.

@rachbarnhart It worked out for you cause you are very bright. Many kids learn to read at home before they ever set foot in school. Almost all of the kids in my kids’ kindergarten classes in Pittsford knew how to read when they entered Kindergarten. B

@BobLonsberry What your saying is that parties should be allowed to gerrymander only once a decade. Gerrymandering seems like cheating. Maybe Congress pass a national law making it illegal to gerrymander, like Democrats propose?

For the record, House redistricting should be every 10 years, as a consequence of reapportionment after the census. Anything else is cheating. We all know that. But we're all so blindly zealous to advance our political party that right and wrong don't matter anymore.

I will never be a loyal Republican. Being a loyal American precludes it. My loyalty is to my country, not my party, and I will support my party only to the extent that it advances the interests of my country.

@rachbarnhart You make legitimate points but without dues-paying members there would be no YMCAs anywhere. Grants alone are not enough. And I’m guessing there is little demand for a huge ymca facility downtown that would lose money hand over fist.

@rachbarnhart The YMCA business model, as a nonprofit, is that poor people go for free. They are subsidized by donors who get tax write offs and other members who pay fees. Poor people can go to Schottland or Penfield Y for free. Sounds pretty good to me.

Just be honest. There aren’t enough paying members in the city to support full-service Y's. And you don’t want to raise the funds to support such facilities and memberships. 3/

@BobLonsberry Should the right wing influencer who posted “86 46” in 2022 be indicted as well? At least Comey took his post down and apologized. No so for the MAGA guy. Of course, neither should be charged

One of three fights and three assaults Friday night in Fairport NY. Village PD was on an assaulted-EMS worker call when a 50-person melee broke out with MCSO responding. This is what a village with an under-staffed police department looks like.

@BobLonsberry That’s fair. Seems like firm might be paying for access. At the same time, he was a legit trial trial atty and was the US Atty. And it’s nowhere near the $28 million the First Lady got from Bezos for a documentary that everyone in industry knew would lose money hand over fist.

What qualifies a career federal prosecutor, with a pension of $48K a year, to hire on at a blue-blood Manhattan law firm for $1.3M a year? Being Mr. Kathy Hochul.

For the record, Trump depicting himself as an AI Jesus is wrong and intensively offensive. It's unfortunate he doesn't know that, and that no one in the White House can tell him.

@BobLonsberry If there is a God, he made some people Black just as he made other people gay. Imagine if a white player spoke out about Black Lives Matter or Black History Month. Imagine what would happen to that dude. I’m not gay but I doubt that God considered gays to be immoral.

@BobLonsberry You are no doubt correct. But there are pukes who vote Republican too, including all of those people who broke into the Capital on January 6, 2021. It’s almost as if there should be four parties: the far left pukes, the MAGA pukes, the reasonable Dems and the reasonable Reps.

@BobLonsberry Maybe a slight majority of democrats voted for the candidate who they think has the best chance in general election? Republicans were desperately hoping for Crockett to win cause talerico is more moderate and thus more electable. It’s not always about race.

Objectively, the black candidates in the Senate primaries in Texas were the best qualified and the best representatives of the values of their parties. And they both lost, to white candidates. I'm not a race guy, but, especially in the Democratic primary, the outcome is curious.

@rachbarnhart Judge White release the defendant BEFORE the people did not go forward with the preliminary hearing hearing. Because the defendant was out of custody, there was no purpose in having a pulmonary hearing, which would have only benefited the defense.

Is this story fair? “the district attorney chooses not to move forward with the preliminary hearing pursuant to CPL 180.80, the defendant needs to be released on his own recognizance.”

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello is beyond frustrated over Rochester City Court Judge Van White's recent rulings to release suspects in domestic violence-related incidents. "To me, it's a miscarriage of justice, and it's letting these survivors down." 13wham.com/news/local/out…
