1 week has passed since Scorched Earth Reborn launched! I spent so much time and effort into this map and i have been so happy seeing abunch of people enjoy the map!
also very important check out the credits aswell!

@LukeCB14 Just the absolute worst way to go about this holy. No holofoils, no feats, people who have every pattern will insta-craft god rolls then complain there’s nothing to do. The average content-starved d2 player will burn through everything in a day or 2.

No feats on the raid and dungeon refreshes, presuming T5s will drop as they do in standard activities!

@LukeCB14 …focus the already small and fragmented playerbase into one raid and dungeon per week. LFG will be bogged down with 9.5 times as many posts and everyone will be fighting over which raid and dungeon to do first.

I think a lot of people who really hate time gating are burned by how Bungie have time gated things in the past.
When the drips are too small, players do not enjoy the content and will complain (think certain seasonal stories).
When the drips are too infrequent, players become quickly disinterested and outraged (think Rite of the Nine).
It's a balancing act at the end of the day. Big or frequent drips is content time gating done right.
Pantheon had frequent drips, one new Pantheon a week for 4 weeks. One of the best periods in the game's history.
Forsaken had big drips:

[Drip 3] Dreaming City curse -> Shattered Throne
Time gating done right enhances the game.

I strongly disagree. There are so many worse things Bungie can do, and I actually think content time gating is a good thing when done properly. If they were to do a raid AND dungeon each week, here are the positives: - 9-10 weeks of fresh reprisals at reset. - Player population is focused on the newly released reprisals, making LFG faster. - Content creators can space their content out more, resulting in more online interest in the game for longer. - Players cannot grind everything in a couple of weeks and complain there's nothing to do. Honestly I'd even be fine with them doing a raid OR dungeon each week and having 19 weeks of refreshes (maybe front load a bit and cut it down to 15 weeks). I think it's clear they're buying time, and reprisals like this are a great way to do it. If they buy themselves an extra 9-19 weeks to work on The Shattered Cycle, The Alchemist and the potential early in development Destiny 3, I think that is overwhelmingly a good thing.

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. @livio_art A lucent-like subspecies of Nu Udra that can camouflage would be amazing. Taking all that oil off would allow you to see the beautiful patterns that Udra have but are rarely seen.

@gandalfsoda Agreed. I got like 2.6mil across 5 weapons for rathian but can’t be bothered to use more than legi and deviljho bow for this one. Those bones flying everywhere knock me out of power volley charge and make me restart the whole hunt lol.

Riftcharged rathian was pretty fun but riftcharged radobaan is just kind of terrible since you can’t break his parts
