This is not just a story about Pakistan buying Chinese submarines. It is a slap in the face to the Western fantasy that Pakistan is “drifting away from China.” After the India-Pakistan air clash, Western media spent months pretending Washington had successfully pulled Islamabad back into its orbit. But Pakistan remembers one very simple thing: when it needed to defend its own airspace, U.S.-made F-16s came with political handcuffs. China’s J-10C did not. That is why Pakistan’s choices are becoming clearer: J-10C proved itself. J-35 is coming next. And now Chinese-built Hangor-class submarines are entering service. Diplomacy is flexible. Strategic trust is not. Pakistan can talk to Washington. But when it comes to the weapons that actually defend its sovereignty, it knows who delivered — and who only delivered conditions.

California liquor store employee gets jumped by a mob of teens before pulling out a handgun, sending the wild mob scurrying. The incident happened outside of Golden Hours Liquor in Oakland, California. The employee got in a verbal spat with the thugs before he was jumped and assaulted. In an effort to save his life, the employee was able to make it inside the doorway of the store before he pulled out a gun which he pointed at the teens, sending them scurrying. Oakland police say no one was shot and nobody was arrested.

Imagine calling an upcoming modern attack submarine "Outdated" just because it uses Sterling powered AIP instead of Fuel cell. Meanwhile, your entire Blue-water Navy hasn't been even able to detect an obsolete Agosta-90B in its entire lifetime.

Pakistan to get First of the Outdated Hangor-class submarine. The Hangor-class submarine utilizes Chinese-made engines instead of the German MTU 12V 396 SE84 and Stirling-cycle AIP system that was developed in 90s by Swedes. Stirling engines have moving parts like pistons/crankshafts, whereas Fuel Cells developed by DRDO are chemical and nearly silent. For the Pakistan Navy this is only source for credible second-strike capability, since it cant afford Nuclear Attack Submarines.

J-35 A yes, HQ 19 yes, I still can't make sense of us going for KJ 500 when it doesn't have any advantage over our current SAAB 2000 ER versions. Instead of buying the KJ 500, Pakistan should wait and go for the KJ 3000.
