@R_McCachren He doesn't track back at all, and Westwood also isn't great at tracking. You NEED someone like Diani there who does track his players and has the size and reach to intercept those passes.

The pivot of LDLT and Westwood does not work, how many times do I have to say it.
You HAVE to have Diani out there with one of them, we just get completely sliced and diced without a true defensive midfielder out there.

@itscalebadams 100% just don’t think LDLT doesn’t track back in defense either. I agree that the backline has issues and that Dean has to fix that but feels like we get overrun in the midfield too much

@R_McCachren Orlando is playing a pivot of a 19 year old and a 21 year old playing in their first ever season in MLS. Barely have pro minutes under their belt.
There's no excuse to not be able to control this game.

@itscalebadams I agree on the Dean part but when he’s had success he’s had good 6s and 8s sure Diani and Westy have done better they aren’t anywhere near the level we should be at and LDLT is just a disaster. This team has yet to find an actual good 8 in all its years

@R_McCachren We win games with Westwood and Diani, they provide the best balance and our best shot of winning games.
But blame for me has to go to Dean. Third year into this project and where the defensive cohesion? What are our attacking tactics?

@R_McCachren @RobUsry PL clubs have interest in Latte Lath, one offered nearly $25 million on deadline day last summer. Advanced analytics look fantastic on him. Almiron fell out of favor of a top 4-5 club in England. May not be the same as 2018 but still has pace in him to be a top player in MLS.
