What happens if two teams battling for the last major spot has the exact same amount of points?

@JesperLarsen222 I do wonder if there's a combination outcomes where big/faze losing and dropping in ranking and PUA winning leads to VRS getting readjusted enough for Alliance to be above Sinners, though I suppose they likely both qualify anyway in that reality

@CommarderFM @denisCSGO Big hat schon 10 LAN wins und jeder weitere bringt nur 12-13 mehr (die alten, die gerade 36 und 37 geben, fallen raus). 3DMax hat kaum Bounty offered Punkte, weil ihr größter Price Money win 5 Monate her ist. Klar zieht das dann auch BIG leicht runter, aber nicht so extrem.

Was muss bei BIG eigentlich genau passieren, damit sie das Major schaffen? Kann das jemand kurz für mich zusammenfassen?

@muenstergg I'm not sure this is a slam dunk case, tons and tons of gaming mega corporations have a vested interest in Valve winning this case. Even though I want the NY AG to win. Will be interesting to see if they can win while keeping the community marketplace intact in any case

NY AG will win suit against Valve. (bad) Skin market will crash and die. (good) Counter-Strike will go back to being about Counter-Strike. (good) Pro teams will lose all their main sponsors. (bad) Salaries will drop to where they should be. (good) Valve will stop investing as much into Counter-Strike. (bad) Valve will invest more into Deadlock. (good)

You can't allow this to be VRS ranked @CounterStrike ! 🙏🙏 Where is even the need to make this ranked?? This isn't an event that is supposed to help a specific team get invites for the regular counterstrike circuit. This is a parallel circuit! THIS EVENT MUST BECOME UNRANKED!! Make it unranked and it is all fine... Keep it ranked and VRS gets seriously polluted with irrelevant match data. If it is the TOR not permitting this to be unranked due to the big prize pool you have to make an exception. You can't load results from a national teams event of this scale into VRS without serious integrity implications. VRS is primarily used for inviting the correct (!!) teams to tier 1 events for crying out loud! This event will have tier 1 event ranking impact! 24 teams with 4 groups of 6 teams playing round robin, that is 60 LAN matches with high impact and then a playoff!! Only thing that can prohibit too much of a disaster is if most of the teams start as unranked. But surely the winner and runner up will get an invite for BLAST Bounty and IEM Krakow based on this info. Doesn't that remind you of something that happened last year? No lessons learned? VRS will be polluted with all sorts of rosters for a long while for no good reason. These are not "real rosters" competing for invites outside of this parallel universe and if there are real 3 man cores from real teams signing up for this, it is beyond CHEATING(!!) to get a buckload of points from this event that other teams are excluded from. What the helly are you thinking, allowing this to be ranked?? Any responsible and well connected people in this scene needs to address this issue with Valve. This really can't happen. Get this "abomination" of a ranked VRS event listed as unranked ASAP please 🙏

@messioso No top team will release players for this 2 weeks before the major, but this will be a huge VRS farm fest for teams missing out on the major, similar to what iesf 2024 did for Nexus

So it clashes directly with BLAST Rivals. 10 days before the major!! Requires orgs to give up players multiple times throughout the second half of the year. Are orgs are compensated for giving up their players? Can't see how any of this works with the current ecosystem tbh

The IEM Rio Qualifier also proved costly to BC.GAME with 0-2 and -57 points in H2H adjustment. They still have IEM Krakow invite though, which was always their big chance of major qualification. Now they need to win at least one additional match there to make up for the 2 costly defeats in IEM Rio CQ. Btw.. Their last game started after 02 CET! What's up with that?? It can only be in e-sports you are required to play very important matches in the middle of the night?
