The book of Leviticus begins with a miniature Aleph—a nod to Moses’ humility. Moses knew his greatness was a gift from G-d. He didn't think he was "nothing"; he just believed that in someone else's hands, his gifts might have gone even further. Be great. Stay humble.

On this day in 1992, a suicide car bombing linked to the terrorist group Hizballah targeted the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A vehicle filled with explosives hit the embassy building, which collapsed, killing 29 people including two Israeli diplomats, and a further 242 civilians were injured. Two years later, on 18th July 1994, a similar attack struck the Argentine-Israeli Mutual Association Jewish Community building, which killed 85 people and injured more than 300, making it the deadliest terrorist attack in the country’s history. Seven Iranian nationals were accused as suspects linked to the attack. These attacks serve as a stark reminder of the global reach and threat of Islamist terrorist organisations, and the urgency with which Governments far and wide need to clamp down on and combat such direct dangers to Jewish communities across the world.

This. Wow. At the 1978 Oscars, Vanessa Redgrave used her acceptance speech to attack Jews using the term "Zionist hoodlums”. Just after, Paddy Chayefsky, WWII veteran, takes the stage after winning an Oscar for “Network” Listen to what he has to say..

This week's Parsha is Vayakhel-Pekudei The Torah describes the times the Jewish people remained in camp as "journeys". It’s a puzzling choice of words—how can staying still be considered traveling? The lesson is profound: every stage of your life, even the moments when you feel stationary, is an essential part of your progress. As long as you are growing, you are moving. Candle lighting in S. John's is at 6:46 pm Shabbat ends at 7:51 pm Shabbat Shalom!

Three weeks ago, Iranian national football team player Rashid Mazaheri posted an Instagram story criticizing the regime in Iran and its leader. Shortly after, he vanished. Unfortunately, Rashid Mazaheri was taken by the regime in Iran. No one has seen him since. His wife is now publicly asking the authorities a simple question: Is Rashid even still alive? The sports world loves political activism. But when an athlete risks everything to speak against Tehran regime, it suddenly goes silent.

It’s possible to be surrounded by thousands of people and still feel completely alone. Technology can fill your time, but it can’t fill your heart. 📱💔 True strength doesn't come from standing alone; it comes from standing together. We weren't meant to do life in isolation. Whether you’re celebrating, grieving, or just need a place to breathe, nothing replaces the gift of a real, physical community. 🤝✨ Chabad is that place, for so many. From the lessons of Moses to the modern day: turn isolation into connection. It's your place where you belong, show up as you are, and remember—you were never meant to walk this path alone. 🏠❤️ Candle lighting in St. John's is at 5:25 pm Shabbat ends at 6:30 pm Shabbat Shalom!

Laid a wreath at Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. Grateful to PM Netanyahu for accompanying me during this visit. Also visited the Hall of Names, a solemn space that preserves the memory of those who suffered and perished during the Holocaust. The Holocaust stands as one of humanity’s darkest chapters. It is an eternal reminder of the need to uphold humanity, dignity and peace. @netanyahu @yadvashem

When the world’s richest person admits money doesn't buy happiness, it’s a powerful reality check. 🛑💰 We often envy someone’s "highlight reel" while ignoring their behind-the-scenes struggles. Comparison is a trap because we’re chasing fragments, not reality. 📱✨ True fulfillment isn’t about what you own, it’s about who you become and the purpose you live. Stop measuring your life against others and start appreciating your unique path. The greatest treasures can’t be bought—they can only be lived. 🙌❤️✨ Candle lighting in St. John's is at 5:03 pm Shabbat ends at 6:10 pm Shabbat Shalom!
