🧵 My favorite chapter of the Book of Mormon is Mormon 8, when Mormon is dead and Moroni begins writing on the plates himself. To me, it’s the most human chapter in all of scripture, because we see the raw emotions of a post-apocalyptic man in the immediate aftermath.

Okay, here is one standing

One thing about myself not a lot may know is that I am very hard on myself. There is a saying: “if you don’t love yourself, how do you expect to love others”. I am constantly working on is how I treat myself. The way I talk about myself, how I see myself and how I carry myself. It’s a constant battle but on the bright side I look at myself now in the mirror and tell myself each day: “Uncle Maui demigod of the UTA bus. You get to live your dream each day. You have riders out there that need you. You are a son of God and YOU have a divine purpose. You are a light among the darkness of this world!”. #mauithebusdriver #busdrivermaui

I am surprised that people ignore our missionaries. If Elders Cole and Ebubechukwu (from the Nigeria Lagos Mission) came to my door, I would invite them in. If they hailed me in the street, I would stop. Whether I believed it or not, I would listen to anything they might tell me.
