The "idea vaccines cause autism" was not "invented by Andrew Wakefield in 1998."
In 1986, over a decade prior, due to widespread parental claims that pertussis vaccine (injected 3x in the first 6 months of life) caused their child’s autism, Congress required HHS (as part of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986) to review the extent of the relationship between pertussis-containing vaccines and autism. In fact, autism was one of only 11 conditions it asked HHS to review. See the original text from the 1986 Act below.*
Btw, more recently, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) could only identify one study that assessed whether pertussis-containing vaccines are related to autism, and that study found there was a relationship, but the IOM threw out the study because it "lacked an unvaccinated comparison population."**

NEW YORK TIMES REPORTS THAT PIF IS FULLY COMMITTED TO SPORTS The New York Times and The Athletic are now washing their hands and saying that the LIV Golf/PIF report came from "golf industry sources." Everyone with some knowledge of the golf industry is wondering if the report came from a certain sports management agency golf division with headquarters in NYC. And what are their ulterior motives if that were the case. Not one source has been on the record! The NYT is also reporting that the PIF is fully committed to sports. "PIF did not comment formally when contacted by The Athletic, though a source familiar with the firm’s thinking who was not authorized to speak publicly said it remains fully committed to sports." 👇👇👇

Because the @PGATOUR product sucks, and the *only* defense is deflection by bringing up LIV. The LIV drama is the only interesting topic in golf. We all know this. PGAT golf is for seniors that need to induce naps & you hope it’s exciting the last few holes on Sunday. That’s it.
