So proud to call @KB_McCullough a colleague! She beautifully captures many of the emotions associated with outpatient hem/onc pharmacy ❤️

So proud to advocate (virtually) on the hill today with this group about the importance of hematology/oncology pharmacists in cancer patient care! #HOPAhillday @HOPArx

Acalabrutinib tablets (unlike 1st oral dosage form approved- capsules) don’t appear to have impaired absorption with PPIs
Targeted Oncology@TargetedOnc

Acalabrutinib’s new tablet formulation has been granted #FDA approval for all current indications, including adult patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, small lymphocytic lymphoma, and relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma. #lymsm #leusm ow.ly/OTzo50KcCiW

Hey @Clinigen ! We’ve been trying to order Campath for over a week for an urgent patient need and cannot reach anyone via phone or email? Are you ghosting 👻 us? Anyone else having major issues or have the ability to speak to an actual human at the company? #twitterx

@ASHP_NPF I personally did email thank you’s for jobs because the turn-around time can be very fast with jobs. I wanted them to know how much I liked their position and didn’t want thank yous to get lost in the mail! #RxInterviewPrep

@ASHP_NPF This was probably the biggest adjustment after residency having a predetermined match date. The best thing you can do is be open and honest with your prospective employers. Also be sure to let everyone know as soon as you accept an offer so they can move on to the next candidate.

@ASHP_NPF @erinmays_pharmd I had an hour long interview of riddles! Why are manholes round? How would you describe the color purple to a blind person? What would you do if a bear chased you? #rxinterviewprep

@ASHP_NPF If you have friends working or doing residency at other sites, ask them about their experience working there! They may be able to provide some insight that is hard to get over the course of a short interview

@ASHP_NPF Talk to them ASAP! They may know if your site will be offering any positions and/or they may have people in their professional network that can help connect you to potential jobs. They want you to find the job that is the best fit for you! (Even if it’s not with them!)

@ASHP_NPF I used my grand rounds presentation from that year. It was a topic I was passionate about and had already spent a lot of time researching. It was then also easy to adjust the length of the presentation depending on what each interview required simply by adding or deleting slides

@ASHP_NPF It’s hard to remember all of the great interventions you’ve made! I was advised to write down experiences as they happened as these will form the answers for many behavioral interview questions. It was helpful to read over these the night before an interview to trigger my memory!

@ASHP_NPF What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part about your job? This allows them to discuss the things they really enjoy about their job and mention some things that may or may not be deal-breakers for you #RxInterviewPrep

@ASHP_NPF Think of situations where you have successfully handled challenging situations (a coworker or provider you disagreed with, etc.) Being able to show a future employer how you handled those situations will be to your benefit in an interview #RxInterviewPrep
