@LesChan68 Hi :) Yes the criteria is preterm. This particular study isn't looking at all the causes of genetic deafness, its about preventing hearing loss caused by a genetic sensitivity to some antibiotics. Would be delighted to speak to anyone interested in hearing loss genetics though!

@SMH_GynMatNicu @rjcorry I'm the parent of an ex 23 weeker with a lengthy hospital stay, who now wears hearing aids. Cause of the hearing loss not confirmed, nor the nature of it... So not sure if any input of mine would be relevant? He certainly had certain antibiotics due to reactions to others...
