Personally I think the odd missed day of school makes fuck all difference. But it makes me laugh that kids will be 'deeply harmed' from a day not in school due to strikes, but will be absolutely fine with a day not in school from the coronation. Make your mind up.

13 years of austerity. Patients dying on the hospital floor. Staff suffering from PTSD, depression and anxiety. If the government cared about minimum safety levels in our hospitals, it would support striking workers in their demands for decent pay and a fully-funded NHS.

Healthcare workers always go above and beyond to help those in need. For the government to lecture them about productivity is a disgrace. To quote an activist I met on the picket line, “empty your fat purses and pay our nurses.”
